School and the Community

As a school we place an important emphasis on developing partnerships within our community. We believe Sturminster Newton High School should be seen as a central part of the community and vice-versa. To this end we will actively engage with community groups and organisations in and out of school hours, to best maximise the mutual benefits such cooperation offers.

This section of the website aims to highlight and signpost events and activities, provide useful local contacts and, in due course, offer members of our community new and exciting learning opportunities, as we open our school to community education programmes in 2008-09 and beyond.
